Framework for Continuing Educational Development of Trainers in General Practice in Europe (CEDinGP) PDF Print

EURACT - the European Academy of Teachers in General Practice / Family Medicine - has a leading role in the Framework for Continuing Educational Development of Trainers in General Practice in Europe (CEDinGP) that was launched in November 2010. CEDinGP is a two year project co-funded by the European Union within the Leonardo da Vinci Programme with the objective of proposing, developing and implementing an educational framework for family medicine teachers working in GP education in Europe. The framework will provide the basis for the development of educational courses for GP/FM teachers on 3 levels: level 1 (competent educator), level 2 (proficient educator) and level 3 (educational expert). The project will also lead to the construction of a European Network of GP/FM teachers supported by an innovative internet-based educational platform hosted on the EURACT website.
