The Framework for Continuing Educational Development of Trainers in General Practice in Europe (CEDinGP) is a two year project co-funded by the European Union within the Leonardo da Vinci Programme that was launched in November 2010.
The objective of the CEDinGP project is to propose, develop and implement an educational framework for family medicine teachers working in GP education in Europe. The framework will provide the basis for the development of educational courses for GP/FM teachers on 3 levels: - level 1 course (competent educator) - click here for leaflet - level 2 course (proficient educator) - click here for leaflet - level 3 course (educational expert) - click here for leaflet
The leading role in maintaining the sustainability of the project results is the European Academy of Teachers in General Practice / Family Medicine (EURACT) with its representatives from over 40 European countries. The realisation of the project will lead to the construction of a European Network of GP/FM teachers supported by this innovative Internet based educational platform hosted on the EURACT website.
