The CME/CPD committee aims to improve patient care in family medicine by continuous medical education (CME) and continuous professional development (CPD). 

We do this by:

1. giving an overview and comparison of CME systems in Europe;
2. identifying the learning needs of teachers in CME;
3. providing and disseminating appropriate materials, tools and methods that teachers could use to meet CME/CPD learning needs;
4. encouraging social contact among teachers of family medicine through different professional communities.
