As a follow-up to the pre-meeting at the European Primary Care Cardiovascular Society (EPCCS) annual CV summit earlier this year, the first EPCCS Council meeting will take place in Stratford Upon Avon, United Kingdom.
The EPCCS Council aims to connect the EPCCS board with GPs in different countries, and expand activities of EPCCS. To this end, up to two representatives of each country will participate in the Council Meeting, to discuss how EPCCS can contribute to better primary cardiovascular care in Europe.
The participants should provide input to EPCCS regarding issues and challenges HP's face with managing CVD in their countries. Moreover, they should help share the outcome of EPCCS activities in their countries.
To date, not all European countries are represented in the Council.
