Description

The European Academy of Teachers in General Practice and the French National College of Teachers in General Practice propose an annual meeting for GP teachers. The main goal is to develop the training of teachers and to plan a course. Since 1996, this Riom Course develops the implementation of new methods and involved GPs from many European countries who had the opportunity to exchange their experiences. These two days are intended for European course organisers, involved in vocational training in their own countries. This year, the topic is centred on Prevention : how to go from practice to teaching ?

Objectives

  • To use Prevention as a support for teaching general practice
  • To adapt this pedagogical innovation to the particular conditions of teaching
  • To promote Prevention in the training curricula
